 In 1540 was founded in Puebla the Hacienda and Wheat mill "El Batan";
the land where today lays the Meson del Molino was part of a lavish
garden belonging to it. Within the gardens of the wheat mill, after a
working day, lovers gathered around a fountain, which is located on
the stairways of the hotel and can be nowadays admired from the
restaurant. Meson del Molino is a place full of tradition, where each
corner evokes the past.
When it was built it had 6 bedrooms and a dining room which is
nowadays the restaurant. The garden was so ample that room wings had
been raised on each side respecting the forest, where more than
150-year-old trees exist, softly whispering us romantic stories,
silent witnesses of a marvelous cultural heritage.
Meson del Molino features 38 spacious guestrooms which have beautiful
rustic furniture, evoking the time in which the hotel was created at
the garden of El Batan windmill. These rooms are awaiting you with
open arms to give you the best of Puebla's hospitality.
